My first 'Love Me Beauty' Box

After many disappointing Glossyboxes recently I decided I need to find a new beauty box to try out. Turning to Twitter for a consensus Love me beauty's box was recommended the most, so card in hand I've signed up for a 3 month subscription so I can really try it out!

It's a slightly different concept to Glossybox and Birchbox in the fact that the contents are not a surprise when they turn up on your door step - every month the "boutique" opens and you are given 3 editions to chose from. From this months offerings I can see each box "edition" contained 5 products but the variety varied on 3 of those, so each box had a different lip balm or tea flavour or design on the little notepads.

I went for Edition 1 this month, mainly swayed by lip balm flavour and book designs.

Nail girls' polish in nude pink RRP £13.50

All the boxes featured this nail polish in the same pink shade. It's a soft mid toned pink with a shimmery finish, it's quite sheer so is a 3 coat jobbie. I've got an existing nail varnish similar to this so I think I may be gifting this away.

Raw Skincare's Natural lip balm in Hint of mint RRP £1.98

I am a lip balm junkie, so this will be getting lots of use! I had to go for mint, the other boxes contained a ginger and a repair version - so not sure how'd they'd taste! Not that you're meant to eat it but smells important considering it's going to be sitting right underneath your nose. The balm contains coconut oil and cocoa butter and it smells lovely!

Suti's trial pack containing cleanse balm, purity balm and fabulous foot balm RRP £6.50

The Cleanse balm is well...a cleanser. You apply to damp skin and massage it in then remove with a cloth or flannel. All three little pots smell a bit strange but I'll still give them a go.

Purity balm is basically a moisturiser than soothes and moisturises the skin it contains a natural healing and skin strengthening formulation.

The ‘Fabulous Foot Balm’ is a rich nourishing foot balm to help hydrate and revive chapped and tired  feet.

Go Stationery's pocket notebook set in Vintage ditsy RRP £5

This handy set of three soft covered notebooks are the perfect size to pop in your handbag for on the go scribbles. The ‘Vintage Ditsy’ collection is perfect for Spring with its dainty flower and polka dot designs.

Pop in your bag and scribble away!

Tea Pigstea's tea'3 envelopes in Chocolate flake tea RRP £1.90

What love me beauty say- ‘Chocolate Flake Tea’ is a sophisticated tea and chocolate combo. It is the perfect partnership of strong tea with a hint of dark, rich chocolate. It is often described as a choccie biscuit dunked in tea!

I'm hoping it's really chocolaty! We will see!

I'm pleased with my first Love me beauty box, nice product selection and all things I'll definitely use. The overall box contents value is £28.88 so for £10 (plus postage and packaging) this is great!
