The Glamour Beauty Edit - Latest in beauty

If you scroll through my blog you'll see I like beauty boxes, I've tried quite a few and really enjoy trying out new products. In this months Glamour magazine I saw an article on their beauty box  collaboration (the glamour beauty edit)with latest in beauty and it looked amazing! There's no surprise with what you'll receive (apart from the shades) and the products were well worth the £16.95 price tag. Total box value is said to be worth £86.15!

The Glamour Beauty Edit - Latest in beauty What's in the box

DHC Deep cleansing oil 30ML mini size (worth £4.50)

Super excited to try this out! I've never tried a cleansing oil before and it's supposed to be suitable for all skin types even oily skin. Applied to a dry face it dissolves all traces of dirt and make up – even waterproof mascara and eyeliner – while nourishing your complexion with antioxidant-rich olive oil. You use dry hands to massage it in and then add water to remove, which leaves skin feeling soft and clean. Apparently in a clinical study, 92% of participants agreed Deep Cleansing Oil worked better than a leading cleanser at removing complexion make-up! Exciting! In the box we received the mini version but it comes in a full size version (200ml) and a mid size one (70ml). The Full size is £21 for 200ml

Illamasqua glamore lipstick (£18.50)

This is what swayed the decision to buy this for me! An Illamasqua lipstick! I don't own a single high end lipstick so I had to have this, plus considering the value of this alone is more than the total price of the box - it was a no brainer. The glamor lipsticks have a cashmere finish that moisturise your lips with a soft buttery formula. All the shades that you could receive are part of their new nudes range which cost £18.50 each

Magnifibres brush on false eyelashes (£21)

I like the look of false eyelashes but can never get them to stay on and they end up frustrating me so I'm really excited to test run this product. It's basically a mascara of fluff! You brush it onto your lashes and it gives you extended lashes, you then apply your own mascara over the top. Quite pricey but if it works could be worth the money. Expect a review soon! Full price is £21 but you can get it for £16 on look fantastic at the moment. To find out more please visit magnifibres.com

Crabtree & Evelyn nail lacquer in apple/rouge sublime (£6)

I have a lot of nail varnishes already but none by crabtree & Evelyn, this pretty apple red shade has a hint of shimmer and is a fast drying formula. £6 from Crabtree & Evelyn

Rimmel sun shimmer instant tan bb perfector (£6.99)

Even though we are well into July I am still very pale, I've been meaning to fake tan but never seem to make time to do it and hang around waiting to wash it off. Which is why this product could be amazing to me! It's a new product from Rimmel that is an instant tan, so ideal for those impromptu hot days where legs need to be exposed. It has a 9 in 1 formula that softens, smoothes, moisturises, gives an instant tan, creates a healthy-looking glow, evens skin tone, covers, perfects and lasts up until you wash it off. I received a full size bottle, which normally costs £6.99

Velvotan the original tanning mitt (£2.99)

To go with the instant tan, you received a tanning mitt. Veleotan's mitt is in expensive at £2.99 and makes applying tan easy as pie. No more streaks or orange finger gaps.

Bourjois cream blush 01 (£7.99)

I'd been eyeing up these cream blushes for ages, I was waiting to run out of my foundation/boots to have a bourjois offer to pick one of these up. So mega happy that this was included, I received the shade 01- Nude velvet which is a gorgeous shade and would suit most skin tones. This on its own costs £7.99

Toni & guy volume plumping whip (£7.19)

This plumping whip will be passed onto my mum, I'm not a big hair product fan but it smells nice? £7.19 in boots

Hawaiian tropic satin protection ultra radiance sun lotion SPF30 Mini (£5.99 )

I love the smell of these! It was my staple on my last holiday. The mini size makes it ideal to shove in your handbag to make sure you're protected all day. £5.99 from the Hawaiian tropic shop

Overall I love this, such great products. I worked out the RRP of each item and it adds up to £81.15, which is still impressive but I'm not sure where the extra £5 disappeared though! I think this is possibly the best beauty box I've ever seen and I'm going to keep an eye on latestinbeauty's website for future amazing boxes! If you want your own box they're still available on there site

  1. That does look like a really good box with lovely things in it. But I think I have been spoilt by the full size products in Memeboxes, I just can't go back to mini trial sizes any more.

    1. Memeboxes cost to much to ship to the UK (for me anyway) they look really good though!
